Today, Annie Duke is an author and speaker. But for nearly two decades, she was one of the top poker players in the world with career earnings in excess of $4 million and a World Series of Poker bracelet in 2004. That same year, she triumphed in the $2 million winner-take-all, invitation-only WSOP Tournament of Champions.
Annie, who also has a background in psychology, took the lessons from two decades of playing poker at the highest levels and has applied that knowledge to help people from all walks of life to make better decisions. Her latest book, Thinking in Bets: Making Smarter Decisions When You Don’t Have All the Facts, teaches readers to get comfortable with uncertainty and make smarter decisions in any situation.
