André Picard is one of Canada’s most well-known and influential health journalists. He’s been writing for The Globe and Mail since 1987 and is the author of five best-selling books. He is an eight-time nominee for the National Newspaper Awards, Canada’s top journalism prize and he is a past winner of the Michener Award for Meritorious Public Service Journalism. We talked about the challenges facing Canada’s health care system, the state of journalism in 2019, running (which has been a long-time hobby of his), music and more.
