About the Warren Weeks Show Podcast

Thank you for considering being a guest on my podcast. I’ve put together the following overview to share some details about the show and to (hopefully) answer any questions you might have about this request.

FORMAT: The podcast is a long-form conversation style show. There’s no script. There’s no rigid list of questions. In my experience, shows that follow a set Q&A format are boring and uninspiring. You can look forward to an engaging, enjoyable interview experience with a host who has done a lot of homework and research about you and your work ahead of time. Typically, conversation topics are based upon your career, your work and any current events of the day that make it into the chat. You’re more than welcome to highlight any areas/topics you’d like to discuss during our interview.

LENGTH: After more than 60 episodes, the average interview length is approximately one hour. Some have been closer to two hours. The shortest one so far has been just under 30 minutes. I find it typically takes about 45-60 minutes to get a great conversation rolling. If you’re open to chatting longer, I am too.

RATINGS: On Apple Podcasts, the show currently has a 4.9 overall rating.

THE TECHNICAL STUFF: Most interviews are done using Zoom. If you’d prefer to use a land-line phone, I am happy to accommodate that as well. If you’re in the GTA, I would be happy to do the interview in-person. Once our interview has been scheduled, I will send you a link and calendar invitation for the interview.

EDITING, ETC.: If you end up saying something you’d like to omit from the interview, please let me know (ideally during the interview) and I will be happy to remove it from the recording.

AUDIENCE: As of Oct. 2022, the podcast has been listened to more than 22,000 times. The largest percentage of listeners is in Canada, followed by the United States and the United Kingdom. The accompanying map shows listenership by country (the darker the colour, the higher the number of listeners).

PREVIOUS GUESTS: Want to know what kind of company you’ll be in as a guest on the pod? While this is just a quick overview, some of the previous guests on the show include:

BOOKS, etc: If you’ve written a book, I will be happy to read it prior to our interview as part of my research. I would also be happy to purchase a bulk order of books (signed would be ideal) to give away to listeners.

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS?: If you have a question I haven’t answered here, please let me know and I will be happy to answer it. My email is warren@weeksmedia.ca.
