Media Training Mississauga | Warren Weeks

World-class media training without the commute.

For organizations based in Mississauga, geography has never been an obstacle. I'm based in the GTA and have been delivering media training sessions to Mississauga organizations for years — across industry associations, aviation, logistics, technology, utilities, municipalities and private sector companies of every size.

No travel costs. No scheduling complexity. Just a fully customized, rigorous media training session delivered at your offices, on your timeline.

Mississauga's Media Environment Is More Demanding Than Most People Realize

Mississauga is one of Canada's largest cities and one of its most economically diverse. The aviation sector at Pearson International Airport operates under intense public and regulatory scrutiny. Logistics and transportation companies navigate labour relations, environmental and safety coverage that can quickly attract national attention. Technology companies are growing rapidly and increasingly finding themselves in the media spotlight. Municipal government faces persistent coverage of development, transit and public accountability issues. Industry associations representing the region's key sectors are regularly called upon to speak to policy debates that affect businesses across the GTA and beyond.

Whatever your sector, if your organization interacts with reporters (or might someday), your spokespeople need to be ready. The organizations that handle media most effectively aren't the ones with the best instincts. They're the ones that prepared.

What a Session Looks Like

Every session begins with a thorough understanding of your organization…your issues, your industry and what your spokespeople are likely to face. From there, we develop and stress-test your key messages as a group, then put each participant through a series of simulated media interviews in print, radio and television formats, conducted by a veteran journalist playing the role of reporter.

It's as close to the real thing as you can get. Participants leave knowing exactly how reporters think, what they're looking for and how to tell their organization's story clearly and effectively under pressure.

Sessions are available in half-day and full-day formats, for groups of any size, and for individual executives requiring focused one-on-one preparation.

Virtual Sessions Also Available

For Mississauga-based organizations that prefer remote delivery, virtual sessions are available and every bit as rigorous as the in-person experience.

Let's Talk

If your organization is based in Mississauga or anywhere in the GTA, I'd be glad to have a conversation about your media training needs and put together a proposal for your review.
